Still No Power

Unfortunately we still don't have any power. Not only is it hot, but it's dark. Centerpoint says they have all their crews working 24 hours, but I don't see results. My power has been out since Saturday, September 13th at 3:00 am and the estimate for the lights to come on is after Thursday. The best part of the whole situation is that I read from a blog on the Houston Chronicle that the reason half of my neighborhood doesn't have power is because a neighbor hooked up a generator and blew up a transformer.

In the meantime I went to the doctor and got some new shots of Baby Boy Smith. (No we still don't have a name yet) Check out that long leg! In the 4D Face shot, it almost looks like he is sucking his thumb.

Office Pranks!

Just one of the hi-jinks that Amy and I play at work. I think she was sleepy so I suggested she probably could fit in my bottom drawer. So she tried. I could hardly breathe from laughing so hard. I couldn't believe that she actually did it.

My 30th Birthday!!

My coworkers decorated my office for my 30th birthday! I thought they did an awesome job! Loved the signs, loved the balloons, and especially loved the shiny stars! Thanks guys!

Hurricane Ike

Okay, so I am home from work today due to Hurricane Ike and decided to update the blog I created quite a while ago. Tiara has to work an 18 hour shift at the police department on the storm mobilization team. Tyler and I are home and just passing the day by playing UNO flash, I have been on the computer, and watching TV. Nothing happening with the hurricane this far north yet, but it is getting a little cloudy outside and a little dark. Just waiting for the satellite to go out. Dang satellite.
